RUSH Guitarist To Take Part In GOLFAPALOOZA

August 31, 2005

RUSH guitarist Alex Lifeson will be participating in the eighth annual Golfapalooza Tournament on September 2, 2005 at Angus Glen Golf Club Markham, Ontario.

Golfapalooza features Canada's best musicians and sports heros joined together to golf, celebrate and raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Other confirmed celebrities include Richard Zokal, Ian Leggatt, Lanny MacDonald, Gord Sinclair, Stan Mikita, Paul Langlois, Grant Fuhr, and Paul Coffey.

Held at the Angus Glen Golf Club, a unique and private venue, last year's event featured members of THE TRAGICALLY HIP and OUR LADY PEACE performing a broad range of songs. The cost is $500 per person or $2000 for a foursome; non-golfers can attend the concert for $25.00.
